I would like to take this opportunity to wish my friends, family and clients a Happy New Year! Thank you for your support in 2009 and beyond, you truly have helped make my dreams come true, and I hope to see you all again in 2010. This year I aim to improve my photography - I want to look back at my work this time next year and feel that I have truly pushed myself to improve and learn. This year I plan to be more organised too, which I am making a start at today. I am also attempting the 365 photo challenge this year - this challenge entails posting one photo each day of the year, with the aim of getting more creative as each day passes. Yo

Yesterday I did a bridal fashion shoot for The Bride in Broughty Ferry. As usual, it took a lot of organising, but this time I decided to do only 2 models at a time. The last time I did a bridal fashion shoot, I had 4 models, with make-up taking over 3 hours, leaving me with 1 hour shooting time! It was crazy, but something to learn from, and with only 2 models it allowed me to give them much more attention. The lovely models are Sharrow and Laura, who both did a fantastic job. Well its a brand new year, and I'm hoping to put more effort into my creative pursuits in 2009. I think that perhaps a daily photography challenge was biting off more than I could chew, so this year I'm aiming for a weekly photo instead! I've still been doing a lot of photography commercially and personally, but I find that updating my DA is so time-consuming. I prefer the multiple uploading and tagging facilities of Flickr, but I prefer the DA community...
